Penn National Insurance Elects Ellen Rinaldi to Board of Directors

HARRISBURG, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Penn National Insurance announced today the election of Ellen Rinaldi as a member of the board of directors of Pennsylvania National Mutual Casualty Insurance Company (dba Penn National Insurance).

Rinaldi retired in 2018 as chief security officer and chief information security officer at The Vanguard Group, Valley Forge, Pa.

Ellen’s legal and business background and her extensive expertise in IT, especially in cybersecurity, will make her an asset to the board.”

Rinaldi gained broad experience in a variety of leadership positions in the insurance industry early in her career, working at Travelers, Connecticut Mutual and New England Life Insurance Companies, followed by 23 years at The Vanguard Group. She earned a B.A. from the University of Connecticut, a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and an L.L.M. in taxation from Boston University Law School.
