Award Winning Management Consulting Firm Hires Robert Vowler
Dame Management Strategies announces the addition of Robert Vowler, expanding the company’s service offerings to its growing book of management consulting clients.
Dame Management Strategies has long been known for its insightful evaluation, strategic planning, and measurable results. Expanding on this track record of success, the company’s current focus has shifted to the role of purpose in the business environment, the new challenge of transitioning to a millennial-based workforce, and growing leadership teams within their clients’ companies.
“I’m thrilled to have Rob join our team,” said John Dame, Owner & Managing Partner. “He has amassed a wealth of knowledge over his career and we are eager for him to share best practices with our clients.”
Rob Vowler brings more than 40 years of executive management and finance experience to the team at Dame Management Strategies, most recently at the helm of his own advisory firm. Prior to that, Rob served as the Chief Executive Officer for the $11 billion Hershey Trust, and served on the boards of several of the Hershey entities.
Rob began his career as a CPA in Washington, DC. He has held a number of finance positions with both Hershey Entertainment and Resorts and the Hershey Trust. He was named Chief Financial Officer of the Trust in 1986. He held that position until 1997, when he was named CEO and Corporate Secretary of the Trust. Following his retirement in 2009, he consulted with two Hedge Funds for five years and most recently headed up his own business advisory firm.
