5/7/20

NEW HOPE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Solebury Capital, the leading equity capital markets advisor with more than 700 transactions, today announced the appointment of Managing Director John Haynor to Head of Structured Equity. In this capacity, Haynor will lead the firm’s strategic initiative to provide Structured Equity solutions, including convertibles, call spread overlays, ATMs, rights offerings and SPACs. In addition, Haynor will continue his role leading Solebury Capital’s life sciences business working with the investor relations life sciences group within Solebury Trout.

“Solebury has a long history of creativity in the equity capital markets, executing more than 700 transactions in all types of market conditions, with deep experience in structured equity,” said Alan Sheriff, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Solebury Capital. “Haynor’s appointment means that more clients will benefit from the knowledge, objectivity and transparency he brings to thinking through strategies in both volatile and normalized market conditions.”

“With the current business disruption and the need to strengthen balance sheets, issuers are looking across a variety of market options for efficient access to capital and low cost financing,” added Ted Hatfield, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Solebury Capital. “Haynor has a unique background that bridges the theoretical and technical components of structured equity and derivative securities with the reality of executing these offerings in the public and private markets. His ability to decode and translate this confusing and sometimes intimidating set of alternative strategies is a real asset for our clients.”

Haynor joined Solebury last year after a career at UBS and Jefferies where he was a Managing Director in Equity Capital Markets and led the execution of convertible, derivative, and structured equity transactions across a number of sectors. Over the course of his career, Haynor has led the structuring and execution of IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, equity-linked offerings, SPAC capital raising and advisory, share repurchase strategies, 144A equity offerings and corporate derivative transactions across sectors. Haynor has executed over 200 bookrun offerings for companies in the healthcare, life sciences, biotechnology and other sectors. He is a graduate of Yale University.
