Precis Engineering has hired Tim Capparella as Senior Process Automation Engineer. Capparella’s hire provides leadership and direction for Precis’ process automation group.

Capparella has more than a decade of experience in process automation engineering within the manufacturing, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. His areas of expertise include control systems migrations, safety instrumented systems implementation and validation, instrument specification, and controller tuning. He has been involved with domestic and international capital project execution. In his new role, Capparella oversees the firm’s process automation department and provides engineering design services for a variety of projects. His project involvement includes instrumentation/automation systems design,systems integration design for stand-alone controllers into building or process automation systems, and SCADA implementations for business-critical monitoring applications.

Capparella holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University. He lives in Horsham, PA.
