If you’ve ever dreamed of hearing the iconic phrase “come on down,” a saying immortalized by Bob Barker and Drew Carey on the daytime television show “The Price is Right,” you now have a chance to appear on the program at a taping held in Los Angeles, California. An open casting call will be held at Harrisburg Mall, located at 3501 Paxton Road in Harrisburg, on Tuesday, July 20 from noon to 4 pm at Center Court. For additional information, call 717-737-9422.
Two people are guaranteed to be selected from this casting call. “The Price is Right,” which airs daily on CBS 21, is network television’s #1 rated daytime series and the longest-running game show in the history of television. Airing this fall for its 48th season on CBS, the Emmy-award series remains hosted by stand-up comic turned actor Drew Carey.
Participants must be 18 years or older and a United States citizen, and must bring state-issued identification to the casting call. In addition, they are required to complete an application in advance of July 20 that can be found on-line at www.local21news.com/station/contests. All eligibility requirements and rules can be found on the application.
