The Davis Companies is pleased to announce that the company has signed a 10-year lease with national law firm Jackson Kelly PLLC in the Union Trust Building located at 501 Grant Street in Pittsburgh, PA. Jason Stewart and Jackie Bezek of JLL represented The Davis Companies in this transaction.
Jackson Kelly’s Pittsburgh office will join other prestigious firms which have located in the building, including Pepper Hamilton, Blank Rome, Frost Brown Todd, Marshall Dennehey, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, TrueFit, Carnegie Learning and First Commonwealth Bank,as well as what will ultimately be six unique dining offerings. The Davis Companies is particularly excited about this transaction,as the law firm will be occupying over 12,000 RSF of the unique and dynamic two story quad space on the 10th and 11th floors of the building.
Inspired by the ambitious$100 million historic renovation of the Union Trust Building, Jackson Kelly began the creative design process to join as a tenant in this iconic and award winning architectural gem. The building has garnered multiple awards for design and restoration including,most recently, earning top honors from The International Interior Design Association in February.
Through the renovation process, the Davis Companies redefined 501 Grant’s future as a 21st century, LEED® certified, mixed use retail/office complex with state-of-the-art amenities, including a 5,000 square foot fitness center, 80 seat conference center, 350 seat theater, underground parking garage and 28 original Pittsburgh-inspired works of art. The building is home to a diverse mix of flourishing, well-known tech, corporate, law, and retail companies, contributing to Mellon Square’s vitality as a business destination in Pittsburgh.
