HREC Investment Advisors is pleased to announce it has arranged the sale of a three-property portfolio including the 122-guestroom Hampton Inn Appleton-Fox River Mall Area located in Wisconsin, the 119-guestroom Hampton Inn Milwaukee/Brookfield located in Wisconsin and the 135-guestroom Hampton Inn West Des Moines located in Iowa. Denver Colorado based Walker Reynolds acquired this select service portfolio.
HREC Investment Advisors exclusively represented the seller, affiliates of The Raymond Group and North Central Group both headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin during the transactions. The marketing, negotiations and final sales were led by Mike Cahill, CEO and Founder in the Denver office, Scott Kaniewski, Senior Vice President, Tom Sommer, Vice President, Jeff Preston, Vice President, all three located in the Chicago office and Mike Dube, Vice President, located in the Denver office.

The Hotel is strategically located proximate to major demand generators and several interstate highways (I-80, I-35, and I-235). Guests who stay at the Property are easily connected to the State’s capital city of Des Moines through I-235 (roughly 10 miles) and all of the attractions and amenities that the Greater Des Moines metro area has to offer such as the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, Des Moines’ Wells Fargo Arena, Prairie Meadows Casino & Racetrack, and Adventureland Park.
Hampton Inn - Milwaukee/Brookfield, Wisconsin
The Hotel is strategically located proximate to both major demand generators and major roadways, including Bluemound Road, I-94, I-43, and I-41. Guests of the Property are easily connected to the state’s largest city, Milwaukee, by Bluemound Road or I-94, (roughly 10 miles east) and all of the attractions and amenities that the Milwaukee Metropolitan area has to offer, such as the Milwaukee County Zoo, the new Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center Miller Park, and the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Hampton Inn – Appleton-Fox River Mall Area – Appleton, Wisconsin
Of the hotels in the surrounding area, the Hampton Inn features the best visibility off Interstate 41, the major thoroughfare in Eastern Wisconsin, connecting Green Bay to Milwaukee. The Hotel is also conveniently located just two miles to the east of the Appleton International Airport. The close proximity to the airport and great visibility from the interstate allows for the Hotel to receive consistent business from the airlines and transient guests.
