Wisler Pearlstine, LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew M. Logan has joined the firm as an associate.

Andrew M. Logan focuses his practice in the areas of trust and estate planning and administration, taxation, business planning, and the representation of closely held businesses. His clients include individuals with modest to substantial wealth, entrepreneurs, executives, and family business owners. Mr. Logan counsels his clients on all aspects of wealth transfer planning, with a focus on structuring estate plans that protect wealth and promote growth, while minimizing transfer taxes. He has prepared various legal documents in implementing these plans, including wills, financial powers of attorney, advanced health care directives, grantor trusts, insurance trusts, and family limited partnerships.

In addition, Mr. Logan also works extensively with both businesses and business owners in all stages of the business life cycle. At the launch of a new business, he counsels his clients on the various legal structures available, including proprietorships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, professional service companies, and S-Corporations. As the business grows, he advises clients on both the legal and tax matters related to the effective operation of the company, such as structuring compensation arrangements, negotiating the sale or acquisition of stock or assets, and structuring reorganizations. As the business reaches maturity, Mr. Logan advises clients on techniques for the smooth transition of both ownership and management responsibilities to the next generation.

Mr. Logan is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Association Probate and Tax Section, and the Montgomery County Estate Planning Council. A graduate of Elon University School of Law (2014), Mr. Logan holds a Master of Laws in Taxation (2016) and Estate Planning Certificate (2017) from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2011.
