Douglas I Zeiders

Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin is pleased to announce that Doug I Zeiders was recently presented with the Variety Club’s 2018 Golden Heart of Variety Award. Doug is presently a member of the board of Variety – the Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley, having recently completed a term as President from March 2014 through November 2017. In his role, Doug was instrumental in improving board governance, transforming the composition of the board and overseeing the development and approval of a progressive strategic plan for Variety. Since 1935, Variety – The Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley has continued its mission to enrich the lives of children and young adults with disabilities through social, educational, and vocational programs that nurture independence and self-confidence, and prepare them for life.

Douglas I Zeiders chairs the Litigation Department of Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin. While Doug has a broad background in civil litigation, including personal injury and commercial litigation, Doug has concentrated his practice for many years in the area of domestic law including, but not limited to, divorce, division of property, custody and support. Given changes that have recently occurred in the practice of domestic law, which make practice in that area of law much more like other forms of civil litigation, Doug’s extensive civil litigation background gives him a significant advantage over practitioners with experience only in domestic law. Doug is an active member of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Family Law Committee and has served as a special Master in Divorce for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. While Doug’s practice is located primarily in Montgomery County and Bucks County, he has handled domestic cases throughout the entire suburban Philadelphia area as well as in Lehigh County and Northampton County. A graduate of Dickinson College (1980), Doug earned his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1983.
