Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA, SPT is the nation’s leading provider of rumble strips and related roadway safety services to state and local governments. It has installed over 150,000 miles of rumble strips and is the only rumble strip provider with the ability to cover the entire United States.

Brookside Mezzanine Partners provided subordinated debt and an equity co-investment to facilitate the acquisition of SPT by Branford Castle Partners, L.P. Based in New York City, BCP is a private equity firm that invests in lower middle-market companies with enterprise values up to $75 million and EBITDA from $1.5 million to $15 million. This transaction represents the second platform investment Brookside Mezzanine Partners has completed with BCP and its affiliates.
