Christle Seal
The Malvern School, a leader in early childhood education with 25 school locations in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Central and Southern New Jersey, announced today the promotion of Christle Seal to the position of Director of Educational Programs.
Seal began her career with The Malvern School in 1998, as a preschool head teacher, and over the years has held various positions within the organization, including National Association of the Education of Young Children(NAEYC) Mentor, Director of Education, Executive Director of the Frazer location and Program Specialist. Just prior to her new appointment, Seal was Program Operations Manager for 13 school locations and was responsible for overseeing school programs, staff and director training, developing new initiatives and building up curriculum options for the schools.
As The Malvern School’s new Director of Educational Programs, Seal will oversee programming for all 25 school locations and will work to broaden the school’s scope within early childhood education, not only connecting all of the schools, but connecting to the community both at the collegiate level and through community learning and development. Her role will also include solidifying and building on the school’s brand of programming throughout the entire region and ensure strict quality assurance as part of The Malvern School’s program department.
“Christle has made significant contributions to the programs at The Malvern School during her nearly 18 years with us,” stated President and Co-Founder, Kristen W. Waterfield. “Her commitment to our curriculum has been demonstrated through the many initiatives she has executed throughout the years and I’m confident that her leadership in her new position will continue to help The Malvern School’s educational programs excel as the best in the region.”
Seal holds a dual bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from Temple University. As a member of NAEYC, the nation’s largest nonprofit early childhood accrediting organization, Seal annually attends its conferences and Professional Development Institute. She is a member of the Delaware Valley Association of the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC), and is a Pennsylvania representative on the NAEYC Public Policy Board. In addition, she sits on the Becker’s School Supplies Advisory Committee vetting new products, tools and educational materials. Seal is also a volunteer through The Malvern School’s support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Christle Seal resides in Malvern, Pa. with her family.
