‘Hop on for Hunger’ event chauffeurs bargain-hunters to thrift stores, benefits Norristown food pantries

Details: Impact Thrift Stores will host a thrift store crawl, a day of thrifting by motor coach, which will chauffeur bargain hunters to three Impact Thrift stores in Bucks County and Montgomery County. Entitled “Hop on for Hunger,” a portion of the proceeds raised through the event will benefit Norristown-area food pantries at the Norristown Hospitality Center and Interfaith Food Pantry.
The bus will depart from the new Impact Thrift Store in Norristown, which opened in August, before moving on to the Montgomeryville and Feasterville stores. At each stop, participants will have about 1.5 hours to shop and enjoy the day’s activities. The cost is $10, and the excursion includes lunch provided by Manhattan Bagel.
