HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Penn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Delaware Valley Advisors, a Philadelphia area financial services firm offering a variety of financial products and advice through its team of seasoned professionals, has a new managing partner.
Peter M. Monahan, Jr., a longtime financial advisory firm leader in the Philadelphia metro area, took the reins of Delaware Valley Advisors on May 1 as the successor to John Kneib, the firm’s co-founder and leader for the past 25 years.
“It’s a privilege to have Peter join our firm as managing partner,” said Kneib, who is retiring from his management role but will continue with the firm as an advisor. “Peter is a highly-regarded leader whose wealth of experience will enhance our ability to help customers reach their financial goals.”
Monahan, a 1985 graduate of St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, has worked in the financial services industry for 28 years, including 10 years with Prudential and 15 years with MetLife. After working as an advisor, Monahan moved into management, serving as a managing director and in other roles focused on agency development, sales management and strategic initiatives.
